GameStop, AMC, Bed Bath and Beyond still going up!

I think GameStop hit $350 at one point pre-market.

My emotions: I can’t believe it. I’m completely amazed. I’ve never seen anything like this.

I’m used to big movements since I invest in growth stocks, but this is a whole new level. I bought some additional shares of $GME at $87.50 pre-market yesterday morning after reading up on delta hedging and gamma squeezes. A delta hedge basically means when a market maker sells a call option they also buy the underlying stock to remain neutral on the stock but when enough call options are bought by investors, this can result in a huge increase in the underlying . Per Fidelity’s option chain, there apparently is a lot of interest:

There are literally 80k+ options expiring this Friday, this amount of volume is INSANE. Every day, new strikes have to be released because GameStop just keeps going up.

I’m not sure how long I’ll hold onto my shares, but it’s definitely been fun to watch. Hah, to think just a day or two ago I thought GameStop would cap out in the mid-80s, boy was I wrong. Definitely eating crow, but that’s totally fine, since I’ve learned a lot in this whole process.
